ROCKY MOUNTAIN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | COLORADO, IDAHO & UTAH


There are few places that make me feel like home, but weddings in the mountains always do exactly that having grown up in Idaho. The scale of the landscape has a way of making everything have that grander, yet intimate and breath of fresh air feeling more than anywhere else in the world. From the iconic slopes of Aspen, Colorado to the world class ski destination of Sun Valley, Idaho  and the refined mountain elegance of Park City, Utah, I photograph luxury weddings across the Rocky Mountain Region for couples who want their day documented with the same level of intention and artistry that went into planning it. Whether you're celebrating at The Little Nell, The St. Regis Aspen, a private estate tucked into the Elk Mountains, or a sprawling ranch property in the Rockies, I bring an experienced presence and a photographer's eye that knows how to work with mountain light.


The wedding featured from this gallery took place at Devil's Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, Colorado which is a breathtaking 6,000-acre property set against the peaks of the Continental Divide. It's the kind of place that reminds you why the mountains draw people from all over the world to celebrate here. The golden meadows, the towering pines and the way the last light of day settings over the mountain range makes it a setting that demands photography that rises to meet it and it's a perfect reflection of the caliber of work I bring to every Rocky Mountain wedding I photograph.


My approach is rooted in leaning into the gorgeous mountain landscape and I shoot both digital and film mediums to perfectly capture the crisp, directional and endlessly dramatic light of the Rockies. Whether it's an intimate elopement on a private Aspen estate, a weekend-long wedding celebration at Trail Creek in Sun Valley or a full gathering in the Utah mountains at the Montage Deer Valley just outside of Park City, I work with the lush surroundings to create imagery that feels alive and expansive.


Luxury mountain weddings deserve photography that captures not just the details, but the feeling of the altitude of the fresh air, the warmth of the fire at the end of the night and the way the mountains frame everything you love most. That's what I'm there for.
