There are a few places in the entire Napa Valley that stop you in your tracks the way Stanly Ranch does. Set on 712 acres of working ranch land in the heart of Napa Valley, Stanly Ranch is a wedding venue that feels both wildly grand and deeply personal, which is a rare combination that makes for truly extraordinary photography.


The property's sweeping landscape, rustic-luxe aesthetic and connection to the land create a visual richness I find endlessly compelling as a photographer and quite frankly, what I think sets Stanly Ranch apart from other Napa Valley venues to get married at. From the gorgeous open skies, the warm candlelit interiors of the resort's intimate spaces to the ways you can take in the views from walking along the property, Stanley Ranch offers a really dynamic range of settings within a single property and I love making full use of every one of them! The light does especially unique and beautiful things at this property in the Fall, I've found.


My style here at this venue definitely leans into the landscape and beautiful architecture. Napa's light is some of the most beautiful in the world and the open terrain coupled with beautifully landscaped vignettes allows me to work in a way that more traditional venues simply down't allow for. The result is imagery that feels lush, romantic and alive. Both editorial in its quality, but always grounded in real, genuine moments.
