Always ready and down for an adventure, the moment Laura wanted to book tickets to come visit LA to shoot photos for her business and blog, LauraTully.co, I was immediately squealing with joy at all the fun we would have and all the amazing photos I knew we could create together.
And boy did we go on an adventure, because you see, we ladies are allll about the HUSTLE! It was go-go-go from the moment Laura landed and I love that we lived and pushed ourselves during the week we have together. We anticipated a solid three shoots together and we got... wait for it.... ten. TEN photoshoots!
Our adventure began on a Monday when I picked her up from the Burbank Airport and we proceeded to immediately head up to Las Vegas. Decided to make a pit stop along the way to capture some of the gorgeous colors of the sky as the sun was headed down.
We immediately made the most of our very short stint in Vegas for WPPI 2016. Having never been to WPPI, there was so much to see, do and incredible people to meet. My talented friend Alicia Mink decided to carpool with us and the three of us most definitely had a great time soaking up the warm Vegas sunshine.
As quickly as we came to Vegas, we quickly left. Wednesday morning we packed up and headed back to LA, but not without taking advantage of the incredible Mojave Desert landscape with the quirky joshua trees. Desert landscape is never something I tire of. The textures, colors and stillness is a dream.
Once back to Los Angeles, we took our time around my neighborhood of Los Feliz and just decided to take advantage of the beauty all around and of course this light....
Next stop... Abbot Kinney Blvd in all it's awesomeness. Laura and Abbot Kinney just belong together. I even think it could be said that they were made for each other - it's just that good.
Wrapping up at Venice Beach couldn't have been more perfect to bring the week to an end. With a sunset that didn't disappoint and the gorgeous golden sun shining it's perfect rays down on us, we called it a wrap and high fived all the way home.
Be sure to check out Laura's blog - she's incredible and I'm so tickled I get to call her a friend.
